Action Item: Get digital camera.
I dropped my favorite half off at ABIA around 11:20, and from there went over to Dille's place. He's out of town on assignment and is due to return soon. So, I made myself comfortable by scouting out his wide screen monitor to borrow at my place while he's away. No dice, he has all 9 different USB cables bundled to easily transfer to his notebook but not so easy for his friends to steal. Thus, I resign to using his scale and his toilet.
I spent the afternoon working in the office. Using full sized key boards and monitor yields national champions. Why mess with tradition?
Once I made it home, I installed a full sized keyboard and monitor in our office space, which is conveniently not in "man-cave" status thanks to the MLS listing of the property. The house has to be spotless, regardless of harassment of Carl, our cat. I'm a big time supporter of animal embarrassment, not animal cruelty. After installing next-day-air'd SRM on to the Serotta for a 1:45min inspection of potential future residences nearer to "my girlfriend's" workplace, I returned to the shining orb of my huge computer screen for no apparent reason. When I realized how great the evening was, I watered the plants, foundation, and cactus in not exactly that order. From there, I went... to the dark side.
Shopping.
I'm a hater on driving short distances, but the apathetic kitchen needed more reinforcements than what I thought I could handle on my bike. I know. I gave up. And, I didn't go to Maria's on a beautiful Friday night.
Getting through the Randall's on 290 was a breeze at 9:20 on Independence Day Eve. Burgers, cheese, buns, avacodos, pink grapefruit juice.
After spending $82, I realized my error. I had overspent. I forgot how to buy when cooking for one. When I walked out to put patties on the grill, I had five patties. For one man, I had a full can of diced tomatoes, a hass avocado, and 1/2lb of stinky cheese. So, the next time I update this blog while cooking I hope other folks living near 78745 will stop by to enjoy my excess food, drinks, desserts, and funkadelic inspired dance approaching my bike as I install a new saddle. Pretty awesome Friday night.
