Action Item: Research future vaccum purchase.
This entry is pretty bland. Please skip if you're busy. Keep reading if you're on a conference call.
Keeping a house on the market without help is very time consuming. The house, by my subjective standards, needs to be "spotless." Unsure of how many times strangers would walk through the house over the course of the day, I opted to vacuum, mop, and do dishes before heading out on a ride. In my haste I ended up busting the vacuum by sucking up the end of our blinds, thus the action item. So, the cleaning task ended up taking far longer than it should have thanks my endless curiosity of iPhone research thanks to woxy now having an app. What should have been a quick making of the bed and mixing Murphy's Oil Soap turned into a two hour production.
Next, I made some sleeveless jerseys.
My cranks just got back from SRM with fresh batteries, so I spent 5hr breaking them in during the hottest time of the day. Of all people to pass riding solo in the opposite direction on the newly paved Trautwein was Kim Wilson. So, my next hour of the ride was spent in a daydream of what July 4 in Pittsburgh, Kim's hometown and near my boyhood home, has been like in the past.
When I clanked through the house to hang up the bike, I found Carl on the bed. He had not moved in 5hr. He didn't move for an hour after his discovery, either. After a few hours of post ride elation I met up with some friends before turning in early, but after helping the neighbors burn themselves on fireworks.
